Community guidelines

Scholars Post is a place for scholarly conversation. These principles keep it useful for everyone.

Be constructive

Challenge ideas with evidence and respect. Disagree with the argument, not the person. Ask for clarification before assuming bad faith, and say when you change your mind.

Give credit

Cite collaborators, sources, and original work. Link the paper, dataset or preprint you are discussing, and acknowledge the people whose contributions made it possible.

Protect participants

Never publish confidential or identifying material: unpublished data shared in confidence, patient or participant details, private correspondence, or personal information about others.

Reporting

If something breaks these principles, report it through our contact page with a link to the post or comment.
